  • Educate the public on the joys of greyhounds as pets.
  • Provide information and resources about greyhound adoption.
  • Provide assistance to greyhound families.
  • Rescue homeless or abandoned greyhounds.

  • Raise & provide funds to help cover costs associated with greyhound rescue, including medical care.
We accomplish many of these goals through community outreach, and by sharing our own greyhounds with the community.

We raise awareness and visibility of greyhounds as we educate the public.

We promote greyhounds as pets and inform the public of the need for support through fundraising, and participate in activities that assist greyhounds and their families.

We remain neutral in the greyhound racing debate to focus on the placement of greyhounds into loving homes.  We are also adoption group neutral, and believe public education is more valuable than aligning ourselves with one particular greyhound adoption group.  We support all adoption groups that find loving homes for retired racing greyhounds.

NOGAP is a group of dedicated volunteers who are advocates for the retired racing greyhound and support the people who adopt them.
